Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ®
They say . . . you positively, absolutely, must use a bowl to serve hummus?

Since when? Who said that? Oh brother! Sheesh! Plllleeease people let’s get creative. How about a remnant piece of marble, granite, sealed concrete, tile, or wood? Empty a good size quantity of hummus onto your remnant of choice. Next, with the back of a tablespoon gently sweep the hummus away from you creating a free-form pattern, without pressing to deep. Or sweep the hummus from left to right in an arching motion, leaving a super looking fan. Now comes the fun creative stuff.
Try scattering shelled toasted pistachios, sesame seeds, chopped hot red peppers, and/or garbanzo beans. How about adding marinated-fire-roasted artichoke hearts, sliced healthy beets, chunks of cold radishes, or one of my fav’s fresh sliced peaches, nectarines, and pears. Mmmm. Yummmmmy! Wait while you’re at it . . . now would be a good time to use a pretty bowl filled with crudités. Finish off this ‘delish’ nibbler with lavash, or toasted pita!
Yes, I could have used the bowls below for my hummus, but . . . geez talk about boring!
Wishing all a fun-filled, happy SAFE Labor Day weekend.
