Dishing it up / with Sharon Insul

Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ©

Yes, bold can be exciting, enticing, and down right mesmerizing but .  .   . then there are times when simplicity, soft layers, and sexy is just the right ticket to creating an intimate mood. Hmmm .   .   . do I have your attention now? Lol. I kind of thought that would get your collective attention. Sometimes you have to take a page or two from the ‘good book’ which in this case is my good book titled “a collection of… Tableofferings from the go to expert tablescaper”.

Below is one of my soft and sexy tablescape interpretations, found on page 13 & 14 in my tablescaping book that reads as follows. Layering is one of the best tools available when creating a show-stopping tablescape. This setting is a tribute to a happy, squeaky-clean look of both springtime and summer. To me, yellow is one of the happiest colors on the color wheel. These plates are a wonderful mix of yellow, pink, and sage-like green, with a pink flower gracing the center. I alternated color water goblets for each place setting, using sea green, pink blush, and mellow yellow, set next to short, cut clear crystal wine glasses, for a more Provence feel. Glass lime colored berry bowls were used to hold a mélange of fresh berries, for the ever so important extra pop of color. Wait .   .   . geez .   .   . I am getting to it! No I haven’t forgotten the soft and sexy angle. Bring out the candles, some set in votive glasses for that ever-so  important face flattering angle, and just a couple of tapers to encompass the two of you in a soft glowing cocoon. Helllloooo! .   .   . Soft, and very sexy!!!
