Dishing it up / with Sharon Insul

Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ©

Ooh! .   .   . bars of chocolate, gold bars, a measure of music, a band of  color or light .   .   . no? How about something more sociable, enjoyable, and people friendly?

There is something to be said for a warm welcome when stepping in from the cold. A welcome so warm and inviting, that people know they have arrived at a destination worth the time, and trip. The definition for hospitality, as found in the dictionary reads, “the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers”. The photo shown above is merely one suggestion out of tons of  ways to say ‘welcome’. To gather around a table, counter, or even a well stocked tray that has been set up as a bar, evokes a feeling of welcoming social contact.

Now add a tray(s) of edible goodies (below), clearly marked, that further says .   .   .  this is to let you know just how very happy I/we are that you have come to visit.  What was that .   .   . absolutely not! No, no .   .   .  no bother. This spread of tasty morsels, coupled with choices of liquid refreshments, is my way of saying you are worth the fuss!

O k! O k! Yes, yes, no need to say it twice .   .   . the above ideas are not your thing .    .    . okeydokey .   .   . I get it!  Stick around for a few more seconds, because   .   .   . I’m not done yet!  Thanks, (I am flashing you a smile) I really appreciate your time. Now for something different in a social gathering .  .   . Hello .   .   . are you people there? Pheww!!! I thought I lost a few of you for a moment.  This is where a drum roll would be nice. A touch of participation on your part will move this right along!  (drum roll) I give you the sweetest hour of the day, desserts with after dinner drinks, cappuccinos, espresso, tea, hot chocolate., or perhaps a glass of port .  .   .   Check it out in the photo below. If you just had a fleeting thought, as to my running out of ideas .   .   . Nah .   .   . not a chance!!!
