Dishing it up/ with Sharon Insul

Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ®

Gifts from the sea come in many shapes, sizes, and colors. As in life no two of anything are alike, not even identical twins. You say not true .   .   . hmmm o k  .   .   . how about we agree to disagree and move on .   .   . thanks! The centerpiece in the above photo is what I call a study in simplicity. Go ahead click on it .   .   . are you feeling it? No? Well .   .   . try looking with a little less tsking and snickering, and a bit more enthusiasmAhh .   .   . mmm hmm .   .   . now your feeling the gentle caressing of the seas ebb and flow!

See people that wasn’t so difficult! The color palette that I chose for the featured table pictured below,  may appear monochromatic at first sight .   .   . but, but,but .   .   .  ahem (sound of me clearing my throat) .   .   .  you all know the words ho hum have never been attached to my name! Oh sorry, sure, sure click on the photo below and peruse. No rush take all the time you need    .   .   . I’ll be here when you get back .   .   . promise! As you probably observed .   .   . fingers crossed .   .   . My canvas began with a stunning French white on white table cloth, creating a fresh clean back drop. To further create a soft, almost ethereal feel to this table I layered cream toned china embellished with a delicate gold design and edge. By creating an almost monochromatic back drop, the above center piece arranged in a vintage patinated silver boat shaped bowl, gives the illusion of this beautiful coral aimlessly floating in its original landscape. Did you notice the lone piece of silver coral prominently displayed in the centerpiece? No? Sheesh! What? You thought I wouldn’t see you? Do I look like I’m napping? Oh please .   .   .  I refer to you as my ‘photo skimmers.’ Uh ha .   .   . mmm hmm. It’s o k .   .   . if you need to peruse again .   .   . honest! The lone piece of silver coral in this centerpiece has been enhanced by adding vintage sterling flatware, silver colored napkins, and votive glasses. Now stir in vintage silver, crystal, and glass candle holders to create one ‘simply elegant’ table.  With touches of candle light strategically placed catching bursts of light mimicking that of a plethora of  shooting stars. Shh .   .   . listen .   .   .  Do you hear it? The echos of the sea encouraging the invitees to hurry, so as to bask in the ebb and flow of life’s pleasure?

Yes my 1st children’s book .   .   . thanks for asking. Title… I AM SOOO LUCKY!!! is in the process of being uploaded to its final destination on Amazon as we speak. It will be available on-line, ebook and in ‘hands on’ printed version. Of course .   .   . please hold all applause .   .   . as my fingers are still crossed, and will remain in this state until I see the writing on the screen!
