Come sit with me for awhile…
and see what I’m bringing to the table

IMG_4572

Rushing .   .   . doing .   .   . running .   .   . working .   .   . feeding .   .   . bathing .   .   . bedtime stories .   .   . phewwww .   .   .

STOP !  .   .    .

Phones off .   .   .   music on .  .   .  candles lit* .   .   . correction.   .   . make that tons of candles .   .   . It’s time .   .   . for a mini vacation, and nooooo .   .   . it doesn’t have to be on the weekend .   .   . so step away from your routine, please .   .   . it’s the unexpected that will melt the day to day ho hum away, and remind you two .   .   . why you became, a party of two.

From water to wine .   .   . chips to cheese .   .   .

It’s all about creating  a small haven for the two of you.

Whether on a teeny/tiny balcony, the corner of your bedroom, living room, a hallway, in or outside your home, there is always a new spot, just waiting for the two of you. That’s right .    .    . just the two of you ! ! !

Any small side table will do for a table top .   .   . haven’t got a small table .  .   . NO problem.

Some alternatives are .   .   .  a stack of cushions on the floor surrounding a tray of goodies .   .   . the seat of a third chair, or a stack of art books, large enough to hold a tray of tasty morsels, and two glasses. Want to kick it up a notch, throw a quilt, table cloth, or even a couple of towels, crisscrossed in two different colors over your basic tray holder, and voila, you now have yet another fun, warm and fuzzy, intimate corner. Leave the ho hum, day to day, same old, same old behind .  .   . People, this is not rocket science, or brain surgery, it’s a respite, a reminder, if you will   .   .   . it’s time to take a break, think ‘in the moment’, and for the moment .   .   . only.

It has been said, romance is in the air .   .   . I say, it’s in your heart .   .   .  go ahead .   .   . please .   .   . touch your heart .   .   . often.

Remember .   .   . dinner can wait ! ! ! If you’re like the rest of us .   .   . missing a full fledged three course meal won’t kill you!

* candles as small as a t-lite, sitting in a glass or dish, can be mixed in with a tray of nibbles. Now .   .   . add candles in holders surrounding your slice of paradise, for that added ambience.

Don’t forget to trim wicks to between 1/4-3/8” before each burn. Please burn candles responsibly,
