Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table
Did you know that the month of April is chock- full of celebrations ? ? ?
I’m here to . . . inform, enlighten, entice and in some instances cajole you . . . my readers.
Whether serious or silly . . .
You have the amazing opportunity to celebrate . . .
Passover . . . National Humor Month . . . Palm Sunday . . . National Guitar Month . . . Pigs in a blanket day (really). . . Tax day . . . Earth day . . . National Peanut Butter and Jelly Month ( honest!!! ). . . Good Friday . . . Easter . . . Holocaust Remembrance day . . .
National Pecan Month . . . National Stress Month . . . Friendship day (which can be celebrated 365 days a year). . . Ex Spouse Day (should be labeled lets forget day!) . . . and so on . . . and so on . . . Phewww . . . well you get the idea . . .
Not interested you say ! . . . why not ?
Oh, come on, this is the perfect time to ‘step out of the box’ . . .
you know the one I’m always talking about . . .
Whether you celebrate Good Friday, Passover, Easter Sunday, or one not mentioned, you can still . . . GET OUT OF THAT BOX !!!
Fill a few great looking bowls with some of the above mentioned, such as peanut butter, pigs in a blanket, and put a tent sign stating the fact that it is national such and such day, or month, mix with a brilliant patterned table cloth, new and quirky plates, vintage flatware, mix’em up glasses . . . and see if you don’t get a chuckle or two!
Dining is not just about satisfying your stomach . . . Mm mm . . .
It’s about feeding ALL your senses, including your funny bone.
*** Don’t forget clusters of votives in cups, to be used as up lights, that are always flattering, tapers placed strategically so as not to visually block conversation Don’t forget to trim all wicks to between 1/4”- 3/8” before burning.
Please burn candles responsibly
