Simplicity .   .   . we all strive for it .   .   .  yearn for it .  .   . wish for it .   .   .  and yet .   .   . we find it elusive, undefinable, and at times down right maddening ! ! !

So what is it ??? Is it a secret, magic, or so, so, so, simple, that one could liken it to not seeing the forest for the trees… Hmmmmmm. . .

Please stress no more… I’ve got the answer. Pick a spot in your home, be it a corner, a sideboard ( as shown above), or your dinner table. Stand back and take a long hard look at your focal point in question. Got the place in question? Good! Now decide exactly what you are trying to highlight and build around that point.

My objective for this sideboard, was to keep it simple while highlighting my unique pieces.All that I added was well worn candle holders of different heights and designs, and one more votive holder. So, so, simple!
