Dishing it up / with Mother Nature’s helping hand

Come sit with me for awhile and…

see what I’m bringing to the table

Can you do any better than Mother Nature’s vibrant fall fashion show?

Not a chance .   .   . All one could and should do is embrace the true beauty handed to us at no charge… Yup. . .those gorgeous falling leaves of rich hues. . . brilliant orange .   .    . heart warming amber, sprinkled with the sunniest of yellows.  .  .  and lets not ignore.   .   .   the deepest rust, and chocolate colors imaginable !!!

What to do ? what to do? … Well it’s actually pretty simple.   .    . The day of your party… catch a breathe of fresh air… grab your garden scissors and, a basket/bucket/bag. Your now ready to gather up the best that Mother Nature has to offer, making sure you also clip a few interesting branches, preferably void of leaves. When you can’t carry anymore… your done! This is the fun part .   .   . Put your  gathered riches in glass bowls, vases of varying sizes, or flower baskets. Make sure not to go to high… you always want to keep the sight line open across the table.

Only have white dishes??? No problem.  .  . Tone it down by using  browns, greens, and/or plum napkins, and candles. Lots of candles.  .  . tapers, pillars, and votive holders.

Remember your guest ‘goodie-to-go’ basket at the front door. See last two post for goodie ideas.

You see it really is soooooo simple !!!!!!!

More next week.
