Ahhh .  .   . the romance of it all!

Listen, do you hear it? Shhh .   .   . there you go, the soft music in the background, comfortable chatter, warm laughter, and the delicate beauty of flickering candle light. Where is this taking place you asked? Well .   .   . hmmm .   .   .  just about anywhere, and everywhere. Yes, yes     .    .   . I did say just about everywhere. At Christmas many of you deck the halls with holly .   .   . but .   .   . but, but .   .   .Christmas comes but once a year  I’m .   .   . giving you all, super ‘deckability’ for the rest of the 364 days each year! I’m proposing brilliant shimmering soirées, glamorous garden gatherings, intimate dinners for two, and even turning your front door into an enticing event. It really doesn’t take much to create this little miracle of joy, as seen in the photo above. I took a cluster of votive cups, and placed them on a tray, set it on a great background of fabric and .   .   .

Easy peasy .   .   . let me explain to those of you, who have had little candle lighting experience, the how, when, what, and where of candles.  Check out the photo below, where I have mixed heights, holders, and colors giving this Spring table a touch of glamour, and pizzazz!

I mean to tell all of you reading this .   .   . that this can make a simple omelet for two look like a much slaved over quiche, with a couple sprigs of parsley tossed about, or even bread pudding to look like a soufflé. Now .   .   . go ahead, and  add the right amount of flattering flames, and feel yourselves being transported .   .   . oh please .   .   . pick a place, wriggle your noses, and pop a little Édith Piaf,  La Vie En Rose CD on. What? Seriously .   .   . you can not be at a loss for the .   .   . the last course!!!
