GATHER AROUND!

Easy people, calm yourselves, I come in peace. Pictures above and below are perfect examples typifying a simple, yet elegant and attention grabbing Thanksgiving spread potential. There is no need to squint. It is the old easy double click trick, to get the treat. Oh please . . . don’t be shy, just click twice on the photo. I have some winners. Excellent, well done! I couldn’t be any prouder than if I was your mother!!!
Center pieces (which I have used before) are none other than lamp shades, decorated with vividly painted fowl . . . Yup!!! I know, I know . . . Prrrrettty smart . . . ha? Don’t have a pair of these beauties laying around? No worries, give a run to the discount stores, or borrow from unused lamp(s) in your very own treasure trove warehouse . . . aka home! O k, I think you all have the idea, so let’s move on.
Assuming you have perused the photo below as well . . . Mm hmmm? I am moving on in good faith. I filled the shade with dried, silk flowers, wheat, and faux, or live leaves. Added a natural toned table cloth, and pale green napkins, both embroidered with cream colored scattered leaves. I set out a mixture of three different dishes per place setting, leaning toward warmer fall tones. I alternated pale green, and rose tone stemware for pops of color. Light tons of candles of mixed heights, add some soothing background music, and bring on the savoires!!!
