| Come sit with me for awhile . . . and see what I’m bringing to the table ® I just heard someone say that they did the stairs this morning. Of course the designer in me asked what they did to the stairs, and was met with a look of surprise and then amusement. Hmmm . . . then I realized that they meant that they actually ran the stairs for exercise! O k . . . what can I say? My reply? Oh that was simple. Yes of course, I’m on my way to do my stairs. Ach semantics . . . sooo much fun . . . I love playing with words. As you can see below, I reallllly did my stairs! From top to bottom I ran . . . draping, twisting, weaving, adding, subtracting, fluffing, and puffing . . . until I too could triumphantly proclaim . . . I ran the stairs today! ![]() Now I know you all can see most of what went into ‘the stairs’, however, there is always one or two things tucked here, and there waiting to be discovered. Take a look again to see my little angel nestled quietly on one of the steps. A birds-eye view from the top can easily be seen in the photo below. I admit . . . that I am a lighting fanatic and love using mini-LED lights, up-lights, down-lights, and spotlights here, there, and pretty much everywhere. In order to keep this stairway from looking matchy-matchy, rigid, store bought, or just downright contrived, I did what I am always preaching . . . I dug deep into my closets. After culling as many treasures, bits and pieces, and tongue in cheek surprises from around my house . . . I did what I too set out to do . . . I ran the stairs today!
