Dishing it up/ with Sharon Insul

Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ©

When is enough, enough??? Some of you may be thinking that one question mark would have been more than enough .   .   . yes, yes I know.

Oh please, I hear some of you whispering. There are degrees to everything. I label the degrees as enough, not enough, or just plain too much enough. Let me help define the degrees of enough for you. Let’s start with ‘too much enough’, by simply summing it up with the words over kill .   .   . stop .   .   . I can’t see the place settings.  Not enough is pretty easy, since it looks as barren as Death Valley! Last, but definitely not least is  enough .  .   . think of it as .   .   .  people wanting to “come sit with me for awhile   .   .   .  and see what I’m bringing to the table”. The above place setting typifies enough, as individual settings go .   .   . but, and it is a Big But, what about the perks, fluff, texture, visual excitement, and .   .   . most importantly .   .   . ‘the’, I want to stay awhile and drink this atmosphere in? It’s what I do .   .   . I feed the soul! What was that? Ahhh .   .   . some of you just said food is sustenance, period! I beg to differ. Food is only one part, another is companionship, and the rest of the recipe consist of  a huge portion of  feeding ones visual senses. The photo below is a perfect example of that extra visual touch. I used a vibrant orange leaf shaped plate, that I drag out at some point each fall, always serving double, triple duty. It’s about the pops of color, the warmth, cast by the glow of candles, and the unspoken message .   .   . please, “Come sit with me for awhile . . . and see what I’m bringing to the table”.
