Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ®

Playful vintage characters from the ever-popular Alice in Wonderland story can be seen hoisting candles to light the way while foraging for colorful eggs found in and around a vintage bird cage, complete with a singing bird! These wonderful characters will be holding court in the company of my upcoming foodie guests as they circle the buffet table holding their first course. The first course of chilled gazpacho served in an ice-cold frosted pink vintage soda glass . . . wait . . . hang on a sec. plllease!!! To take this starter dish from yawn . . . ho hummm to zing-a-ding I will add a dollop of sour cream sprinkled with finely chopped chives that is sure to appeal visually and tease the palate for things to come.

To continue a fun and airy feeling of Spring, I have opted for my pastel dinnerware highlighted with a jolt of cobalt blue for that ‘always needed’ pop of color, set on a soft yellow table linen. Above is an itsy-bitsy peak of what’s to come next weekend. More? Sure, tune in next week for the finished tablescape!
