Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ®
Dad needs a time out . . . pleeeease!

There have been moments when wearing a mask, bathing in sanitizer, singing happy birthday to oneself while soaping hands for a minimum of 20 seconds has plain old tuckered me out. Sometimes a good old fashioned soak in the tub or a long hot muscle penetrating shower will do! Hey . . . even the most fun loving of us need to recharge our batteries. I am positive that the famous cute little bunny that we’ve all watched from time to time, does finally run his/her battery down. Ah . . . how do I know? Helllllo . . . it’s simple . . . the commercial just doesn’t last long enough for you to see its demise!
Now this is what I propose you gift to dad after his tub/shower rejuvenation-respite. We are all pretty familiar with the practice of après-ski that takes place in snow country, but are you familiar with ‘après-bath’? No? Hmm. Let me catch you up to speed in the ‘art of après-bath’. It’s a little known and practiced art that takes place before, during, and ‘après-bath’.

After the initial ritual of the long awaited tub/shower rejuvenation-respite, the second phase kicks into gear. As seen in the photo below, two dinner trays have been set. Each person gets his/her own tray of sustenance-sans-sanitizer, complete with a calming candle, country French wine glass, salad and dinner plate. The menu? A taste of pâté, an endive salad with basil-mint dressing, followed by cold poached salmon, drizzled with dill sauce. The only thing left to do is bring those trays to your comfort zone and continue to rejuvenate!
HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!
