Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ®
It’s time for a respite!!!

A time for calm and a time to reflect . . . and a time to take a breath.
Hang on pllllease . . . this is not another “discussion” or lecture. I repeat . . . take a breath and create a respite from life with a tray of goodies!!! Similar to last weeks suggestion, a simple tray of tid-bits seen above celebrate a moment in time. A vintage tray (natch!) filled with quinoa chips, guacamole, cha-cha-cha just over the edge spicy salsa so as not to be ho-hum. Sliced cheese with black figs accompanied by crispy olive/fig crackers next to an olive boat filled with black and green olives for the passionate olive lover.
Yes it is the same vintage tray as above. What can I say . . . win-win . . . it’s my favorite tray that also happens to fit on top of my round top table on my balcony. With the switch of a few serving dishes and selection of yummies, another ‘respite take a breath’ moment delivers. Easy-peasy . . . it’s whatever you have on hand . . . leftovers count!!! The tray-of-delight seen below holds a mixture varied enough to satisfy any palate. Roasted red pepper hummus, water crackers and seven grain nut bread sit alongside a plate of goat cheese topped with fig preserve, sliced Jarlsberg cheese with sliced strawberries. Maille old style mustard is served for that extra tang.
A time for calm and a time to reflect . . . and a time to take a breath.
It’s time for a respite!!!
