I SAY TAKE IT ON THE ROAD!!!

Living with the stay-in order for the next ??? Hmmm .   .   . I say take it on the road!  Recreate one of your memorable moments away from home. From the exotic to the ho hum revert to past travels. Can’t pick one? No worries. How about you pick a destination yet-to-be-visited? Now this is where your imagination comes into play. Having never set foot on this far off land of choice I say .   .   . it’s time to google-it. What are you looking for? Whatever your country of choice think local foods and submersing yourself into the local culture.

Morocco is tonight’s memory of choice which explains not only my choice of  decoration but my choice of tasty morsels for this happiest hour for two. Pictured above, homemade humus (sprinkled with paprika bought in Spain) fanned out on a remnant of polished stone surrounded with tasty morsels of olives from Morocco, seared artichoke hearts, capers and slices of beets for taste and color. Serving pieces and semi-precious inlaid sterling box are treasures brought back from Morocco. Wait don’t go! Below is what’s for dinner.

For my main course Moroccan lamb tangine with artichokes, tomato-poached eggs and couscous. The perfect dish to warm the cockles of one’s heart.
