Come January 25th The ‘Year of The Rat’ is said to portend new beginnings, renewal, and prosperity. I’ve been crossing off the days on my calendar in anticipation of not just new beginnings but scrumptious edibles and the ever exciting visual displays that play an integral part of The Chinese New Year. I have unearthed my hand painted vintage tea cups for such an auspicious occasion. These delicately hand painted porcelain cups make for the perfect t-lite holders, while my little Chinese boy stands quietly by . . . also waiting for the calendar to strike January 25th, 2020.
