Segueing towards New Year’s
Wouldn’t life be easier if the biggest calendar celebrations fell on Saturday? I know. What can I say? When important dates, such as Christmas and New Year’s Eve fall midweek . . . a little finessing, aka tap dancing is called for! I mean look below. What started out as a Happy Holiday table quickly became a bridge between Christmas and New Year’s. The tablescape below was set to bring a small group of friends that could not make it on December 24th or 25th. With a quick change of sparkling white and glass vintage dinnerware, a snowy tablescape begins to emerge. Each place setting is embellished with a sparkling red pear cradled in a green glass bowl. Both red etched glasses and tall green stemware tie each place setting together. With a quick change of fresh candles and the flick of a lighter . . . I am off and running! Guests to greet. Let the merriment continue!!!
