Dishing it up / with Sharon Insul

Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ®

Some like it hot .   .   . or not!

With the weather yo-yoing about, bringing Spring to the table seemed like a no-brainer.  My last week’s table setting (wp.me/p3E2rZ-5yy) was filled with heart-starting colors of brilliant fuchsia, burnt orange drenched like the radiance of the sun, then gently cradled in a glass cobalt blue dinner plate, so rich in color that it reached to the very depth of my soul. Now I know some of you out in my reader land are asking      .   .   . where am I going with this? Right? Question no more. Since I receive a lot of emails with both comments and questions, I thought my commenting on some of your comments and questions would be a nice change of pace. For those of you who missed last week’s tablescape .   .   . have a look. With a touch of imagination, the mix of colored stemware looks to be dancing on a field of freshly blossomed fuchsia colored flowers.

One of my readers wrote .   .   . this table was tooooo bright, but loved the mix of dinnerware. Hmm .   .   . not everyone is ready to take what I refer to as the seasonal plunge, or is in-like with shades of pink/fuchsia .   .   . no worries. My reply .   .   . start with a table linen of crisp white, or perhaps a sun bleached yellow, or a gentle sky blue.

Another readers comment was .   .   . OMG!!! I am in love with this table setting, it makes me feel alive. I say .   .   . Yes, yes, yesssssss!

Please keep your emails coming to .   .  . sharons3@me.com .   .   . I love answering!
