HOT! HOT! HOT!  I kid you not!!

The way I see it is .   .   .  that it’s wayyyy to hot to give a sit down dinner party even a fleeting moment’s thought. Whether preparing it or ordering-it-in, leaves me drenched in sweat! Sooo .   .   . the next best-fun thing to do was to throw a dessert night. All my invitees immediately yelled .   .   . perfect!!! Everyone got to bring their ‘fav’ dessert. Below is what’s left of the huge amount of sweets that graced my table. I filled three cake stands with an assortment of goodies, and left the rest of my seven foot table for everyone else to strut their stuff!  Please read on…

Mea culpa. Mea culpa. I really was ready, camera in hand .  .   . honest! However, as   brave a lady as I have been known to be, even I would not and could not stand between this herd of dessert gourmands!  As to the mere morsels left below? Well, what can I say? Let’s just say .   .   .  that at the end of the evening, I was still the hostess with the mostest.
