Dishing it up / with Sharon Insul

Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table®

June is jam packed with all sorts of celebrations! Graduations, Father’s Day, bridal/baby showers, and of course that much sought after June wedding.Whether your planning a hoe-down, beach side, or a full blown walk-down-the-aisle wedding, a to-do list goes hand-in-hand with any style affair. To-do lists can take on so many twists and turns on the way to the I-do’s. The garden bridal shower tablescape seen below is one of six tables that were set. Each table carried the same color scheme but were set differently. The reason? This was in a garden, so I treated each table like a floral vignette.

Seen below is a set of vintage Jadite dishes that one of my brides found, fell-in-love with, had-to-have, could not live without. Hey .   .   . not everyone wants gold edged china. Since I was the planner, coordinator, and all around come-to when stroking was needed, I took it upon myself as my mission in life to get those pretty little vintage Jadite puppies locked up for the very stressed bride-to-be. Me? Nah. I wasn’t the least bit stressed, just as I said before .   .   . I was on a mission. This is how I landed what I am sure will end up being her most prized possession. When sending out the bridal shower invitation, I enclosed a photo taken of her please-must-have set of vintage dishes, with a special note. Ahh .   .   . yes the note. I simply stated her desire to-have-and-to-hold the vintage dishes seen in the enclosed invitation. I further stated, please consider this as her registry, and gift whatever portion you want. I also arranged to have the store put this set on hold, with the guarantee that all would be purchased by a specific date. Oh pleeeassse .   .   . there was no risk just a guarantee  backed by the brides mother. Did she get her beloved dishes? It was a slam dunk! All anyone had to do was make one simple phone call to the store, pick what pieces, pay by credit card,  and voila .   .   . mission accomplished!!!
