Free again, lucky lucky me .   .   . free again. Ahh .   .   .  the joy of being free. Free to stretch out and up. Especially up, as in the sky is the limit. Well, maybe not the sky, lol, I do get carried away occasionally. Did someone just say, ‘and your point’? My point? Yes I see, there is to be no dragging of my feet .   .   . right? Guess that’s the same as  .   .   .  cut to the chase. Got it! I’m on it!

For me, spring and summer always evokes feelings of casual, easy-breezy, laid-back, opportunities to entertain. Mother Nature’s passionately infused bounty says it’s time to gather and celebrate. Brilliantly colored flowers blending with vibrant and lush fresh-growth foliage makes any gathering magical. The tablescape below is a prime example of flaunting Mother Nature’s finest work. Spectacular white roses clustered with peonies that have been kissed with vivid green foliage. Just behind  this arrangement stands a tall vase of wonderful lime green flowers, which ramps up that much sought after pop of color to new heights. No .   .   . no pun intended. Next up on the visual parade are candles, candles, and more candles. Wowie .   .   .  Zowie! What a difference lit candles make. Remember, when serving buffet, you are as free as a bird, skies the limit. There’s no trying to talk to or see the person across the table, just copious amounts of nature’s amazing finest bounty, both visual and edible.

The table below is one of several placed around the garden. A ‘Baby Breaths’ centerpiece lends itself to a simple and airy tablescape without being intrusive. One of my all-time favorite, inexpensive, and easy flower to find in the market place.
