Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ®
“I’m late! I’m late! For a very important date! No time to say hello, goodbye! I’m late I’m late! I’m late!” Lucky for me, that I caught this white rabbit before he disappeared down the well known rabbit hole!

My recipe for spring . . . take one vintage birdcage filled with faux feathered friends, and top it off with the infamous white rabbit from the tales of Alice in Wonderland. The wonderful birdcage above was found at a local flea market. Did someone say paint it? OMG! . . . be still my racing heart! Positively not! People, people, people, there is a sense of joy when a much used, well worn object can be saaaaved from the trash collector without sanding or painting the beauty away.
With my new found treasure (seen below) firmly set in the center of the table, I added my vintage collection of the characters from Alice’s journey down the rabbit hole. As you can see, most of these pieces are candle holders that instantly turned this table into a magical leap into spring. Come back next week for the complete table setting.
