Thanksgiving, aka one of the coziest, fuzziest, warmest time of the year. The big kick- off of the holiday season is finally here! Candle lit lanterns along with tons of tapers, and votive holders light the way to a festive feast.

Below is my finished table just waiting for next Thursday, sooo please look around and let me know what you think.  What was that? Oh, no worries, I’ll keep it dust free by covering it with a sheet. My table is draped in a sage on sage table linen, with matching napkins. Instead of wrapping the cluster of grape napkin rings around the napkin, I decided to simply rest them on top of each napkin. The basic place setting has the identical dinner, and salad plate, but .   .   . and the but is topping these settings off with three different alternating colored bowls ranging from teal, to lime- green, to blue for pops of color. For an extra hello .   .   . ‘do you see me now pop’ I added square burnt orange plates set on the diagonal for bread and butter.

Ahhhhh .   .   . the center of attention falls smack dab in the middle of the table as seen below. I have this wonderful old silver-plated deep tray that has lost its shiny luster, which makes me very, very, very happy! Why? For those of you who have been following me for awhile know how much I covet vintage, and much enjoyed ‘things’, hence, my absolute delight!!! All I needed to do was fill this baby with leaves, both ginormous wood carved, and Mother Nature’s honest to goodness pine cones.
