Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ®
The good news is that Labor Day brings out the grill masters supreme. Whether it’s hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, steak, or the mouth watering rack of lamb pictured below. I personally have not met anyone who isn’t up for some kind of barbecue celebration! To give you all a brief history of the origin of Labor Day, one needs to step back in time, to the year 1882, when two brothers, named Peter, and Matthew Maguire who were labor union leaders, decided to celebrate and honor American workers. As with most things, time and life styles change, and with that change came a slightly looser interpretation of the holiday’s meaning. Along with honoring the American worker, it is also looked upon as the end of summer, and in many cases the beginning of the school year. P S . . . for those of you who need to know which brother created this much celebrated holiday . . . your guess is as good as mine . . . it was a well deliberated question that never seemed to get settled, since both laid claim to the idea. Now I personally don’t care, who, what, when, or how it came about . . . I just want to be fed!!!!!

Sooo . . . now that we have our history lesson safely behind us, it’s time to get to the nitty-gritty of what goodies you and your friends will be making for the upcoming shindig . . . right? Oh, hey I just heard some of you become quite vocal, and with a slightly elevated voice . . . making, making? Oh no, no, no! Shhh . . . breath . . . I promise it will all be alright. The following has been created just for you . . . the ‘non-cooking’ Labor Day participant. For those who do not cook . . . I give you the ultimate appetizing feast that’s fun, mouth watering, and perfect for tweaking the most discerning of palates, while the grill masters man their stations!

IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!
