Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table ®
Who doesn’t love the beach? I know, I know . . . not all of you have the beach at your doorstep. Me neither . . . granted it’s a half hour away as the crow flies. Excuse me . . . have you ever driven in LA traffic? This is a town where a few simple miles turns into an overnight sojourn, I kid you not!!! Like I said . . . it’s not in my backyard. Hmmmm . . . let’s recap . . . no backyard beach . . . sooo . . . what’s a person to do?
How about I start with my garden angel, as gentle as an evening breeze. Featured below, sitting on top of a hand crocheted table cloth. What was that? O k, sooo it’s not really a table cloth, it’s more of a very large vintage shawl doing double duty? Geeeeez! Haven’t we been over this before? Flexibility, creativity, playing out of the box . . . people pllllleeeeease a little help here! Pheww! Thanks. With my angel holding court over vases filled with fresh picked flowers, mother-of-pearl-like silverware, and vintage dishes, it’s time to embellish! Don’t you just love the word embellish?

Speaking of embellishing . . . let’s talk eye candy, as seen below. Think of it as jewelry for the table, your eyes and more importantly your soul. For the visual interest etc., I added sea shells, and strands of pearls, sitting next to a vintage glass pedestal dish layered with soft pink/yellow rose printed dollies. Hang on we’re almost there . . . all that’s left to do is put out tons of candles, and votives . . . EVERYWHERE!!!

AGREED!!! Thanks sooo much! Happy you liked it😊
so pretty, thank you for being part of my tablescape blog tour xo
Love a tablescape that is “outside the box!”
Shawls, scarves, curtains all make great overlays and table runners. Votives everywhere? Yes! Pearls as an embellishment? Yes again! You’ve checked all of the boxes and designed a lovely table.
“out of the box” is such a fun place to play
