Now you see it, now you don’t! This way, mmm .   .   . nooo that way. I just love before and after photos like the one below. What you are looking at, is the same basic layout as last week’s tablescape .   .   . I kid you not! No, some of you whispered, no, no, no .   .   . Please go ahead take another look, in fact see both photos below. Ahhhh now you see it! Gone are the elegant, and delicate bone china dishes, gigantic dried lotus leaves, and ivory-like handled silverware.

Now comes the transformation part of my show-and-tell. This tablescape was decked out for a good old fashioned buffet .   .   . but .    .    . before they rushed to the feed station, aka buffet  .   .   . their first course was being served table side. What? Why not?  Guests need a little pampering, before having to actually walk the few feet to a buffet filled with plates of yummy abundance. First up cold strawberry soup served in chilled glasses seen sitting on top of yellow vintage plates, that also act as holders for napkins until needed. What was that? Lol. Someone just asked about the knife resting across the top of the wood charger, next to the dessert spoon. Why not? Oh people, plllllease .   .   . there are people zip-lining at close to sound barrier speeds, eating dinner while hanging in mid-air attached to a humongous crane, and some who are even more death wish oriented, are scaling tall buildings without a safety harness or worse no net!!! Sooo .   .   . what was your question about my living on the edge again?

Just thought I would share this photo of my Barnes and Noble book signing/reading, this past Saturday, and was invited back for a return engagement on May 13th. Barnes and Noble in Marina Del Rey. I feel that .   .   .”I am sooo Lucky!!!”

For those of you who came to my children’s book signings for “I am sooo Lucky!!!” at Barnes & Noble. Saturday April 15th  in The Marina Del Rey Store it was great meeting all of you!
