It’s not just about the game .   .   . ok so maybe it’s about the game .   .   . but geez .   .   . a persons got to eat .   .   . right!

Picture a table filled with an assortment of yummy sandwiches, like the one above. I know .   .   . I’m getting very hungry! Now that I have your attention, can we move on? This is where the fun, and creativity begins. Whether Super Bowl Sunday is a big deal or not, you’ve got to love the eats! Start with a few cutting boards, planks of wood, platters, or pieces of heavy cardboard covered in butcher’s paper/foil, some extra large sized baguettes, and fill each baguette with different combinations of yummy sandwich fixings, and rest them on a cutting board. Come on people, this is the easiest homework I’ve ever given you! Be creative, step out-of-the-box. Leave a bread knife next to these delicious morsels so that everyone can help themselves to a slice of heaven. Fill side dishes with coleslaw, potato chips, pickles, hot peppers, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, pasta salads, etc., etc.. For those of you who are soup lovers, put a big old crock pot of your favorite soup, next to your mouth watering sandwiches, stack a bunch of mugs/cups, and let the games begin!!! This is one of those rare occasions where you will hear me whisper paper/plastic .   .   . shhhhh!! But as we doers say; a woman has got to do, what a woman has got to do!

Use halftime to load up big bowls of ice cream, set them in larger bowls of ice to keep frozen. Toppings, did you just query about toppings?  OMG tons of possibilities! Awe come on guys .   .   . this is a ‘no brainer ‘.   .   . honest!!!
