OMG! I know what a relief it is to see who is sitting across the table from you  .   .   .  wait .   .   . and over there, and there .   .   . and everywhere!!!  Wow .   .   . it’s going to be clear sailing from here on out!!! What? Aw, I’m sorry that you can’t see everyone at your table? Hmm .   .   . Let me help you with that.

Do see how the tall tapers are not exactly in the center of the table? No? Go ahead take a second, a minute, or longer. Sure, sure no problem .   .  .you’re very welcome. Oh please people, calm yourselves .   .   . this is not brain surgery. I’m sending you some pretty easy, need-to-know stuff. O k everybody .   .   . take a deep breathe, hold it and release. I can tell that some of you need to take at least one more deep breath .   .   . carry on .   .   . I’ll wait. Now that you all are relaxed, let’s get to it! As I started to say earlier on .   .   . all of the candles are staggered so as NOT to cover anyone’s sight line. To accomplish this simple, and I mean simple task, you need to sit in each chair (after the place settings are set) and look across the table, then left and right of straight across, and the ends of the table. You need to sit in each seat and adjust where the candles will work. This is not rocket science .  .   . and can be done .   .   . because I do it all the time!!!

If you find that you just can’t get it all to fall into place, take one more deep breath and .   .   . use shorter tapers, votives or even short chunky pillars, and use the taller tapers on your sideboard, bar, or buffet table. Now, buffet tables lend themselves to tons of tapers. Get them as tall as you can find, placing them in the center of your buffet, light them up, and watch the magic dance about your table!!!
