Where does it all start? Mmm . . . nnnno not necessarily from the beginning . . . sometimes it can just miraculously happen, as tho falling magically from the sky! Mm hmm . . . yes, I suppose you may have a point . . . miraculously may be a bit strong, but I think I want to hold on to magically. Was it serendipitous, a happy accident, that landed the unlikeliest of color dishes on my door step! What did I say with this gift-o? . . . Oh pleeeease . . . I said yay! Thank you! And promptly began laying out a plan to put these puppies to work!!!
If you listen carefully, you probably can hear these beauties saying . . . I need some greens and yellows in my dish life. Sooo of course I pay close attention to the dish spirits and I am prepared to comply. Whoa . . . whoa . . . how do you know for a fact, there are no dish spirits? O k people, you don’t have to believe. How about agreeing to the need for the brilliant colors in the photo below. Sooo . . . here is my plan. My first plate will be an aubergine colored charger, followed by one of my newly acquired jadeite colored dinner plates. Next comes a tomato colored salad plate, finished off with a jadeite bowl filled with alternating yellow and aubergine halves of a braised cauliflower. This table is a few days away from coming to life . . . will post photos soon.
