It is said .   .   .   ‘When life gives you lemons, make lemonade’ .   .   .

but I say .   .  .Hmmmmmm .   .   .  not always .   .   .

For those of you who are always striving to step up your hostessing game .   .   .
read on .   .   .

While lemons are great for cooking, decoration, drinks, and yes, even taking spots out of vintage linens, I offer .   .   . yet another,  NOT ho hum dinner table idea.

I am sure that most of us have seen, and used finger bowls at one time or another, however,  what I am proposing for the up coming warm months is simpler, out of the box, and always WELL received.

Using a regular size washcloth folded into a quarter of the size, dip in water that lemon, or lime, has been squeezed into, then lightly squeeze out most, but not all of the water. Place a stack of washcloths, still folded, in plastic wrap, plastic container with top, or in aluminum foil, refrigerate at least an hour before end of meal. To serve these refreshing hand towels, I stack them on a small, but very cool looking platter, and pass.* Sit back … and listen to the AHHHHHH’s .   .   .

Enjoy !!!!!!!!

* of course, in colder weather, pop them into microwave for 10 or so seconds.(all micros very in time needed, so experiment before hand ) and listen to the Mmmmmmm’s .   .   .

WHEN  USING CANDLES FOR YOUR CELEBRATION …

Please burn responsibly
*remember to trim wicks to between 1/4-3/8” before each burn.

Till next week…
