Come sit with me for awhile . . .
and see what I’m bringing to the table
Yup . . . You’re not hallucinating . . . it is indeed a vegetable center piece. A gift from the hands of Mother Nature . . . pure bounty from earth to your table, with a slight tweak.
Veggies you exclaim!!! . . . O K everyone, let’s take a deep breath and think about this for a sec.. WHY NOT ??? . . . What’s more amazing than dropping a few seeds into the dirt, sprinkle with water, and harvest . . . other than birth.
Now that I have your attention… Let me explain my thought process… Mother Nature presents us with a show of one sort or another 24/7, and I want to celebrate when, and where I can. The best part of this centerpiece is that it is most assuredly recyclable, as in part of dinner the following day. . . Feeling better?
I used a wide mouth deep bowl ( glass )* filled to the brim with a mix of edibles such as green and red cabbage, kale, spinach, lime, and fresh dill weed for the wonderful aroma, as well as the soft texture. My salute to St. Patty’s Day. . . NO BLARNEY !!! … really
* Don’t have a big enough glass bowl… no worries . . . try a large basket, or a series of smaller bowls clustered together.
PLEASE burn candles responsibly.
Till next week…
