Dishing it up/ for the holidays

IMG_4383

Even in sunny  So. CA. red and green still reign top of the preferred color choices for holiday dinners. Soooooooo with that thought in mind.   .   . I layered table toppers  (generally 24″ linen squares), in forest green, rich red/warm pink, and purple/fuchsia. Topping this jewel toned display are square frosted green dinner plates, with assorted colored edged glass bread and butter plates, of red, yellow, green, and purple.  Rich deep ruby red cut glass tumblers perfect for red wine, tall stem clear glasses for white wine, and lightly tinted water goblets in green, yellow, and soft pink. A combination of jewel tone napkins popping out of water goblets gives this table a holiday pop!

The glow of dusty rose, pale yellow, and red tapers perched above the warm glow of clear cut crystal votive holders dancing below.

Don’t forget to cut the wicks to between 1/4″ to 3/8″ before lighting.

More next time…
