Bowls . . . you say . . . what’s the big deal about bowls . . . well . . . If you’ll give me a sec, I’ll show you just how important a roll bowls play in the making of a tablescape, or in serving dinner.
Mix or match them (if you must!). Invert one, then pop another one of equal or smaller size on top, and VOILA, your bowl(s) take on a brand new life. How do you keep them siting on top of one another? Oh, that’s simple. . . It’s all about a dab or two of earthquake wax, or adapters (dime size wax tabs made to hold tapers in place.)
I’m sure you’ve got the idea by now… but… if you need a couple more nudges… try a ceramic bowl on the bottom and a stainless, or shiny silver top bowl. Or your top bowl is a basket filled with yet another bowl. . . Fill it with food,or maybe floating t-lites or flowers. Now are you getting it????? . . .
